Camp will be in the gated Capertee National Park on a former cattle and sheep station, reservations are required, to be made with National Parks by each vehicle at a cost of $12 per night per couple, please confirm attendance with trip leader before booking. Starting from Denman, we’ll make the two-hour trip out to camp, stopping off for coffee along the way. The roads in are sealed with the exception of the last few kilometers which is a good quality dirt road. Saturday afternoon will be spent relaxing in camp. On Sunday we’ll explore some of the sights in the park as well as taking a trip out to the Glen Davis shale oil ruins before packing up Monday morning. We’ll make our way back to Denman to end the trip around lunch time.
